Margo is an American living and teaching English in Budapest. Prior to moving to Hungary, she worked in corporate America as a copywriter and copyeditor helping organizations and executives tell their stories effectively.
She believes there is power in knowing the language and nuances of business English, and, after more than a decade of honing that power, she hopes to help others learn it as well. Her methods for teaching hinge on participation and practice, practice, practice. She encourages her students to use and interact with English often, whether through books and movies or pop music and TikToks, to build their vocabularies — and comfort levels.
Students who take her class will benefit from a course conducted completely in English with a native speaker. She creates a safe space to make mistakes and, thus, expects her students to participate in discussions and practical activities so she can give them real time feedback for improvement and continued success throughout their careers.
