On holiday
The Matthews family are Mum, Dad, and three children. The children’s names are Ben, Sarah, and baby Thomas. The Matthews family are going on holiday. It is early in the morning and they must leave to catch their plane. They are in the car, ready to leave.
Mrs Matthews: “Where are the passports?”
Mr Matthews: “Don’t worry, they are in this bag.”
Sarah: “Mummy, is my book in the car?”
Mrs Matthews: “Yes, Sarah, your book is right here. I know you are enjoying it!”
Mr Matthews: “Let’s go. We mustn’t miss our plane, and it is a long drive. Seatbelts on, children!”
Ben: “Daddy….”
Mr Matthews: “Not now, Ben. We’re just leaving. Sit back and enjoy the ride.”
Ben: “But, Daddy…”
Mr Matthews: “Quiet please, Ben!”
Ben: “But the baby isn’t in the car! He’s still asleep in his cot!”
